Apprentices learn while they work, so their knowledge is up-to-date. Because their training is on-the-job, the practical skills they gain can be tailored to the business they are working within.

How it works

Our Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off the job learning.

On the job they work alongside your staff, off the job they attend the College (usually on a day release basis at one of our two sites) and work towards nationally recognised qualifications. These are our two sites in Kent:

Medway Campus
Medway Road
Gillingham
Kent
ME7 1FN

Maidstone Campus
Tonbridge Road
Maidstone
Kent
ME16 8AQ

MidKent College offers 20 different Apprenticeships over 80 industry sectors, so it is really is just a case of identifying which one is right for your business.

Depending on the programme, your apprentice will attend one of the following sites for his or her day-release training:

Advertise your vacancy online

Apprenticeship Vacancies is the official online recruitment system for Apprenticeships in England and is managed by the National Apprenticeship Service. The system enables quality vacancies from employers like you to be viewed and applied for nationally by candidates, making it easy for you to attract and recruit apprentices.

Apprenticeship Vacancies lets candidates search for your vacancy using selected criteria such as geography (typing in Kent, for example), occupation, job role and keywords.

If you are interested in using this service to find an apprentice, please contact Al Camacho on 01634-383084 for further information.
