These courses provide an introduction to floristry and cover a basic range of designs. You will also learn how to recognise and correctly care for plant materials. Units include wedding and funeral designs.
Depending on the level and type of course you complete, you may also cover assembled wired floristry designs, floristry display techniques, multicutural and international floristry designs, and photography media, techniques and technology.

Successful completion of the Diploma in Floristry may lead to further studies or employment as a junior florist, while successful completion of the Extended Diploma may lead to self-employment or employment within the industry, possibly at senior level.
