When do I apply?

Places on some courses are limited, so you are advised to send in your application as soon as possible. You can, however, apply for a place at any time up to the start of your chosen course* (courses usually start in September).

*UCAS deadlines apply for a number of our Higher Education courses. Remember, places are limited, so apply as soon as you can!

What happens next?

Once you have applied, you will be contacted by a tutor for your chosen course. Usually, this contact leads to the offer of a place on one of our courses. This offer may be unconditional (if you already have the appropriate qualifications and experience), or it may be conditional (and will depend on the results of any examinations you are due to take).

Alternatively, you can attend one of our Advice/Enrolment sessions, dates of which are advertised in the Part-time Course Guide and on the College website. Remember that earlier applications are more likely to guarantee a place on the course of your choice!

How do I pay for my course?

Many part-time courses are free up to the age of 19. If you are over 19, you may still be entitled to help with your fees. However, this will depend on the course and your individual circumstances. If you’re unsure what help is available ask at your interview.

If you are liable to pay tuition fees and/or exam registration fees, please indicate your preferred method of payment. Do not send payment with your application, we will contact you when this is required.
