Set in the Oakwood Park complex, MidKent College's Maidstone Campus provides a pleasant learning environment for students. The site houses a range of quality workshops – including those for Bricklaying, Carpentry, Motor Vehicle and Welding – as well as a large Learning Resource Centre, refectory and welcoming social zone.
In 2012 the Maidstone Campus will undergo a major redevelopment costing a total of £25 million, with new state-of-the-art facilities expected to be open by December 2013.
As part of the rebuild MidKent College has purchased the University for the Creative Arts' Maidstone campus, which is also based at Oakwood Park. Higher Education learners currently studying at Chatham Maritime are due to move across to the new site in late 2012.
Whoever you are and whatever your needs, we are sure you will find studying at the Maidstone Campus a fun and rewarding experience.
Get the grade
The modern Learning Resource Centre contains all the library and study facilities you will need to make the best of your course - including text books, newspapers, magazines and a growing number of online resources. There’s ample space for individual or group study, and you can get online using the IT terminals. Students are more than welcome to borrow items and our friendly LRC team is always on hand to help you access the resources you need.
Get friendly
The Maidstone Campus Social Zone is available for you to use during free periods and lunch breaks. Open all day, this chilled-out area provides students with a sociable environment in which to listen to music and meet with friends. MidKent College's Social Zone coordinators run a full programme of social and charity events throughout the year.

The Hair Academy Salons at our Maidstone Campus offer reasonably priced hairdressing services – such as cutting, colouring, perming and styling – for both men and women.
Our Holistic Therapy salons offer a full range of body therapies and facial treatments.
Get fed
The large Food Court (open Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4pm) serves a range of hot and cold meals and snacks including baked potatoes, burgers, pizzas, salads, confectionery and much more.
Our Maidstone Campus is also home to The Apprentice Restaurant, which caters for business lunches, corporate dining, large functions, seminars and working lunches. Students over the age of 18 are welcome to enjoy the bar area (subject to proof of age).
