The College, which currently employs about 900 workers across four sites, was praised by assessors following a visit late last year.
Among the findings listed in a review by the awarding body was that staff felt the range of learning and development opportunities open to them was “excellent”.
Communication was also felt to be excellent in most areas of the College, while most employees interviewed said it was a good place to work.
The review also found that the commitment of staff to student achievement was “widespread and deep-rooted”.
MidKent College Principal and Chief Executive Stephen Grix said: “Helping our students achieve their goals is our highest priority, but in order to do that we need a happy, talented and highly-motivated team of workers.
“I’m very pleased to say that’s exactly what we’ve got, and am delighted the College has been recognised again by Investors in People.”
The Investors in People standard – which also applies to MidKent College Training Services based at the Royal School of Military Engineering – demonstrates that an organisation is committed to the welfare and development of its workforce.
Last November the College was also reaccredited with the Investors in Diversity standard, with inspectors praising the “truly inclusive nature” of the workplace.
