Students struggling with their finances are urged to take advantage of the help available through MidKent College.

Financial help for students available


Funding is still available for 2011-2012 students to help them pay for books, uniform and other necessities.


They may also be eligible for help with public transport costs if they live more than two miles from the campus they attend.


Those eligible for financial help may include people from households with an income under £20,187, and young people in care or living independently. 


Students may also be eligible for help if their household financial circumstances have altered due to events such as redundancy or changes in the family home.


Pick up an application form from the Information Zone at the Medway Campus, or the Learning Resource Centre at the Maidstone Campus.
