Performing Arts students in New York City



About 30 MidKent College learners enjoyed the sights and sounds of Broadway during the five-day enrichment trip, which included the chance to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Neil Simon Theatre.

They also visited some of New York’s other tourist attractions including Central Park, Times Square, Liberty Island and the 9/11 Memorial.

Performing Arts lecturer Myles Stinton said: “A lot of the students’ work is based in New York so having been there now gives them something to refer back to in the future.

“They had a great time, as you would expect. There’s so much to see and do in New York and the feedback has been very positive.”
