Learning Resource Centres (LRCs)

The Learning Resource Centres located at our Medway and Maidstone Campuses are modern, dynamic, forward-thinking departments totally focused on supporting your learning needs. In these centres you will find welcoming staff and plenty of text books relevant to your course. In addition, you will also find a large number of newspapers and magazines, along with a growing bank of electronic resources. These electronic resources are available from outside College 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

There’s ample space for individual or group study, and you can get online using the IT terminals or your own laptop via WiFi. Students are more than welcome to borrow items and our friendly LRC team is always on hand to help you access the resources you need.

The LRCs provide a total information service, offering:

• Computers with email, VLE and internet access

• Online subscription services
• Periodicals and newspapers
• Photocopiers
• Reference books and statistics
• 'Ask a Librarian' email service
