College a Microsoft and CompTIA Academy
MidKent College is now the only college in Kent to offer Microsoft Partner Apprenticeship Programmes, Microsoft E-Learning Packages and Microsoft Commercial/bespoke training.
In addition, as part of becoming a Microsoft Academy, MidKent College can now offer free training for all College staff. The College's Business Development Unit are currently working to equip a dedicated training room.
Head of Business Development at MidKent College, Jacqui Brown, said: ‘This is an incredible achievement for the College, not only in what we offer students but also for the professional development opportunities for College staff.’
The official launch for the new programme will be held in January 2012 with representatives from Microsoft. During the first year of the programme Midkent College will work towards becoming a Microsoft Gold Member.
