Apprenticeships enable employers to not only attract new staff but also to train up existing staff and tackle skill shortages. Many employers find that training through Apprenticeships has a positive impact on staff morale, retention and productivity.

Apprentices learn while they work, so their knowledge is up-to-date. Because their training is on-the-job, the practical skills they gain can be tailored to the business they are working within.

How it works

Our Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off the job learning.

On the job they work alongside your staff, off the job they attend the College (usually on a day release basis) and work towards nationally recognised qualifications.

MidKent College offers 20 different Apprenticeships over 80 industry sectors, so it is really is just a case of identifying which one is right for your business.
