At MidKent College in Kent, our specialist facilities include a fully-commerical travel agency – open for business at our Medway Campus – and a unique cabin crew training facility housed at our Maidstone Campus.

Our cabin crew training facility provides students with an unrivalled and unique environment in which to gain hands-on experience of in-flight services, while our travel agency, The Travel Shop, enables students to put everything they have learned in the classroom into practice.

Further practical experience is available on our Frontline Training courses, designed for those wanting to work within a competitive frontline customer service environment.

An extensive range of higher education courses are also available at MidKent College.

 
 
Depending on the level and type of course you undertake, you may complete units in cruise operations, European destinations, UK destinations, marketing, aviation and airline operations, airline safety and security, crew room duties, airline emergency procedures, the business of travel and tourism, customer service, communication and more.

All Foundation Learning courses aim to enable students to progress to a full Level 2 qualification.

Successful completion of our full-time Level 2 and Level 3 courses in Travel and Tourism could lead to entry into higher education to study for an honours or foundation degree in Tourism Management, or to employment within a wide variety of travel organisations including tour operators, travel agents, airports, visitor attractions or public sector tourism. Many of our students obtain work overseas.
