Depending on the level of course you complete, you may study units in fitness testing, anatomy, physiology, psychology, and practical sport.
Those completing the Subsidiary/Extended Diploma in Sport & Exercise Sciences will focus on the function of the human body and its impact in relation to sport, as well as the benefits related to exercise. Units on this course include biomechanics, sports massage, nutrition and coaching.
The Subsidiary/Extended Diploma in Sport (Development, Coaching & Fitness) comprises a mixture of theory and practical lessons, with practical units including fitness testing, practical team and individual sports, and sports coaching.

All Foundation Learning courses aim to enable students to progress to a full Level 2 qualification.
Those who successfully complete our Level 2 Diploma may continue with their education and training at MidKent College or seek employment in the fitness and leisure industry.
The Level 3 Extended Diploma may lead to employment in a variety of roles within the fitness and leisure industry or entry to further study at university.
