Situated in purpose-built premises, the Creative Media department at MidKent College's Medway Campus in Kent houses a fully-equipped television studio, editing suites and a broadcast-quality radio station. At Maidstone, facilities include a photography studio and video editing suites.

You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
Depending on the level and type of course you complete, you may study the industries and production processes of contemporary mass media. Skills you may develop include photography, video production, writing, advertising design, digital graphics, website design and print publishing (magazine and brochure design).

All Foundation Learning courses aim to enable students to progress to a full Level 2 qualification.
Those who successfully complete our Level 2 Diploma may progress to further study in order to develop their talents and skills, or possibly to employment in media-related industries.
The Level 3 Extended Diploma trains you for the media industries and also enables you to learn and develop a variety of skills which are transferable to a range of companies in related areas of work. Many students choose to continue their studies at a more specialised level in higher education.
