It is estimated that the visual and creative arts now employ more people in the UK than the car industry. For many careers in the new hi-tech economy, creative skills are in demand. As a result, higher level study in art and design is currently enjoying a renaissance. On completion of the BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design, many students choose to take a degree in one of the many art and design subjects available.
