A message from the Managing Director 

Thank you for your interest in working for MidKent College at the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME). For the next 30 years MidKent College is contracted to provide a range of training services for the RSME and as such has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary company (MKC Training Services Ltd) to employ staff to undertake this training for the Ministry of Defence.

MKCTS is able to offer a diverse range of exciting career opportunities for all kinds of people. When fully staffed, we employ about 230 people – all based at the RSME at Brompton Barracks in Chatham. These staff come from a wide variety of construction and engineering backgrounds, and although many have not previously worked in education, all share a desire to pass on their skills and knowledge to others.

We welcome applications from experienced and qualified tradespeople who can communicate their skills, are passionate about their trade and want to develop their careers in teaching by gaining formal teaching qualifications.

At the RSME, staff have an exciting opportunity to work with the military – in particular with a regiment whose history has touched the lives of many and is inextricably tied to major achievements in engineering.
