Access to Healthcare

Delivered from our Maidstone and Chatham Maritime Campuses, this course will enable you to progress to diploma or degree level training in Midwifery, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Healthcare or any of the social sciences. 


 
 
In addition to the core programme, you will also study Human Biology and Psychology.



You will need to have some paid or voluntary experience in healthcare to join the course.

Motivation to learn is one of the most important entry requirements. No formal qualifications for the course are required, however, motivation to learn is essential. You are expected to have a basic competence in English and Maths; there is a short written test to assess this. Students must be at least 19 years of age on 31 August 2011.

If you do have relevant qualifications, they may exempt you from parts of the course.
