Our super-modern Medway Campus boasts some of the best vocational training facilities in the country. The state-of-the-art site houses a range of top-quality workshops and laboratories as well as a large Learning Resource Centre, refectory and welcoming social zones – all constructed to the highest quality and totally focused on our students’ needs.

The modern Learning Resource Centre contains all the library and study facilities you will need to make the best of your course – including text books, newspapers, magazines and a growing number of online resources. There’s ample space for individual or group study, and you can get online using the IT terminals or your own laptop via WiFi. Students are more than welcome to borrow items and our friendly LRC team is always on hand to help you access the resources you need.

The Medway Campus is home to two buzzing Social Zones. Open all day, these chilled-out areas provide students with a spacious and sociable environment in which to listen to music, play video games and watch TV. Our Social Zone coordinators run a full programme of enrichment activities throughout the year.

The Medway Campus’s Floristry Shop sells carefully crafted arrangements at competitive rates. Open every day and staffed by our very own Floristry students, the shop will offer you an excellent standard of service.

The Hair Academy Salons at our Medway Campus offer reasonably priced hairdressing services – such as cutting, colouring, perming and styling – for both men and women.

Our Holistic Therapy salons offer a full range of body therapies and facial treatments.

The Travel Place is MidKent College’s ABTA bonded travel agency. Excellent service and generous discounts are offered to students booking travel and holidays through this Medway Campus-based agency.

The large pavilion between the Central Block and West Wing is home to our state-of-the-art performance theatre. This top-quality performance space plays host to a number of different student activities throughout the academic year. With top-of-the-range sound and lighting equipment, we expect all students to benefit from this fantastic space.
